Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is a flexible client-centered therapy considered a third wave CBT approach.

ACT allows clients to work on what matters most to them to ensure they get the best out of treatment. ACT can be used with children, adolescents and adults.  At Happy Brain we recommend the DNA model by Louise Hayes for Adolescents. Louise’s program is empowering and allows the teen to take the lead with great animations and activities. ​


Our practitioners adopt a mindful approach being present with our clients and teaching them skills in mindful awareness either through play for our young ones to mindful techniques adopted from world leaders in Mindfulness such as Dr Russ Harris and Dr Steven Hayes.
