Roxanne Wells-Peris
Senior Psychologist | Board Approved Supervisor | Trainer
Roxanne is a warm and attuned psychologist who brings deep expertise in understanding the intersection between trauma, attachment, and neurodivergence. She is passionate about supporting neurodivergent children, adolescents, and adults to heal, grow, and live lives full of vitality, authenticity, and connection.
Her approach is grounded in attachment-informed, trauma-responsive, and neurodiversity-affirming practice, recognising that safety and connection are at the heart of all meaningful change.
Roxanne works collaboratively with clients and their support networks — including families, educators, and allied health professionals — to build cohesive, compassionate systems of care around each person.

Clinically, Roxanne draws on modalities such as EMDR, Ego-State Therapy, Schema Therapy, and somatic-based approaches to help clients reconnect with their inner resources and sense of safety. Her work honours each individual’s unique nervous system, life story, and strengths — supporting them to regulate, integrate, and thrive.
As a Board Approved Supervisor, Roxanne provides reflective, supportive supervision that helps clinicians deepen their confidence in trauma-informed, attachment-focused, and neurodiversity-affirming practice. She creates an open, collaborative environment that values curiosity, compassion, and self-reflection.
Through her role with Happy Brain Academy, Roxanne facilitates training and consultation for allied health professionals and organisations. She has previously delivered programs including:
-
Strengths-Based Leadership: Australian Tax Office
-

Roxanne’s authenticity, clinical wisdom, and gentle presence make her a trusted clinician, supervisor, and educator who helps others rediscover resilience and purpose.
