Payment information & policy

Time and Punctuality

A consultation will usually last 50 minutes. If you are late, your consultation will usually still finish at the scheduled time, to be fair to your treating practitioner and the patients with appointments after yours.

Payment Options

Fees are payable at the time of your appointment. Payments accepted include: 

● BPAY 

● Automatic debit of funds via Halaxy using the debit/credit card you provided 

● Direct Bank Deposit 

Halaxy

If you authorize your practitioner to store your clinical records on Halaxy Pty Ltd. You authorize Halaxy Pty Ltd ACN: 633 220 612 to store your debit/credit card and debit payments from your nominated debit/credit card stored on Halaxy when you have or cancel an appointment or are provided with a service from Happy Brain Psychology.

 

You acknowledge Happy Brain Psychology will appear on your bank statement. You acknowledge you are personally liable for fees if another third party funders do not cover the service you use. You understand that Halaxy Pty Ltd Terms and Conditions can be found on their website https://www.halaxy.com/article/terms.

As a patient (or patient parent) of this practice you consent to paying any Halaxy payment processing fees (maximum cost 2% + $1 per transaction) applicable to your service/consult.

Happy Brain now gives you the option to use Auto Payments via Halaxy to pay your appointment fees. Similar to a direct debit, your fee payments are processed automatically at the time of your appointment from the nominated credit/debit card provided by you and stored electronically on Halaxy. This means you can focus your entire appointment on treatment without the need to worry about payments. When payment is processed you can receive a confirmation email, in addition to the invoice from your practitioner. 

Medicare Rebate Processing

Happy Brain now gives you the option to use Auto Payments via Halaxy to pay your appointment fees. Similar to a direct debit, your fee payments are processed automatically at the time of your appointment from the nominated credit/debit card provided by you and stored electronically on Halaxy. This means you can focus your entire appointment on treatment without the need to worry about payments. Our Reception staff electronically submits the claim to Medicare in one click using Halaxy, and Medicare pays the rebate into your bank account.

NDIS Participants

For Self-Managed and Nominee Managed Funds Fees are payable at the time of your appointment. For all other funds invoices to be paid within 7 days. Please note, if your NDIS plan does not have the required funds to pay for the service you agree that you will then be personally liable for the charges.
