Why we do intake calls

In order to book an appointment with our clinic we do require all potential clients to have an intake call with us. This is a 15 minute complimentary phone call where you will have a chat with one of our practitioners so that we can better understand how we can help you.

This ensures that we are the right fit for you and that you are the right fit for us.

Once the intake call has been completed we will match you with the right practitioner to ensure we provide you with the best support possible.

A few important things to note before booking your complimentary intake call with us.

Our Fee Schedule as of April 2024

Clinical Psychologist $250 (50 minutes)
General Psychologist $220 (50 minutes)
Provisional Psychologist $160 (50 minutes)
Play Therapist $193 (50 minutes)
Mental Health Care Social Worker $193 (50 minutes)
Psychological/ Diagnostic Assessments range from $1,700 - $3,200 (Not Medicare rebatable unless you have a referral from a Pediatrician or Psychiatrist requesting diagnostic assessment
NDIS Clients - Please refer to the NDIS pricing schedule here

Out of pocket fees range from $96.65 for general psychologists and $141.85 for clinical psychologists

Funding

We accept Privately Paying, NDIS Plan Managed, NDIS Self Managed & Mental Health Care Plans from your GP. Private health insurance cover varies based on your individual cover - please consult your insurer to find out your cover.
We do not accept Bulk Billing or NDIS Agency Managed Clients (NDIA)

Unfortunately, we are not able to provide services to:

Clients seeking medication through psychiatry - we only provide psychology & play therapy services
Clients currently in court proceedings or about to go to court (i.e., impending court cases)
Clients seeking Medico-Legal Reports
Clients in crisis needing immediate care
Bulk Billing clients and NDIA clients (Happy Brain is not a bulk billing service, we only accept NDIS Self and Plan Managed clients)
